Eau Claire with an early 1-0 lead after SNC D got caught pinching going for a big hit, giving Eau Claire a 2-on-1 the other way. Pass over gave a partial breakaway and EC player deked Jacobson and tucked the puck inside the right post for a 1-0 lead.

Normally there are not any score threads for mid week games. They're normally ECAC-NE, MASCAC, and Northeast 10. These leagues do not have a large following on this board. However tonight the #1 team is playing. I hope they're not WIAC in the knees.

Broken pane of glass with 3:20 to go in the first period sends the teams to the dressing room early. SNC will start with a power play after they resurface the ice and fix the pane. They'll play the 3:20, switch sides and play the second period.

A bit awkward, and potentially could be considered changing the game conditions. But I suppose that it's okay as long as both teams consented to the change. It definitely gets everyone home a bit sooner that way!

It's in the rule book. Extended delay with 5 or less in the period, you go to the locker room, fix the problem, resurface the ice, and resume when you get back out.

Although not a men's score....Plattsburgh women score with 49.2 seconds left in regulation to defeat Castleton 4-3.

IMO, Eau Claire is ranked way too low. They will be there in the end along with a number of Western teams for tourney consideration.

Both times I have watched Eau Claire they have been impressive. The Saint Johns/Eau Claire game last week was exceptional and those teams were about as even as it gets. Eau Claire was also missing Ross Anderson yesterday. Was he hurt or? Definitely didn't help because that kid can flat out play.
