We'll see. There are "attacks" where you call the target and say "our rubes want blood so we are going to drop ordinance on you, where do you want it?" and they answer with the exact coordinates of a tire pile where the attacker can get lots of sexy photos and do zero damage.

I would bet there are phone calls going on right now between Iranian and Western ICs setting that up for domestic derp consumption.

The Iranians genuinely do want to fuck up Emirates. They don't want to crap on their markets.

75% of geopolitics, probably even including hot wars, is sending signals to each other about what you need to do to assuage the state-side derps. Even in the most total wars there's a lot of kayfabe because every country's population is half ape.
