Had this discussion with someone the other day, before all this new chaos. They deleted their comments after I posted this:

Let's use DHS' own numbers from December 2025 and their number that they have taken 20,000 violent criminals off the streets in the US..

From December 2025 DHS numbers, 8% of those arrested have felony criminal records, 73% have no criminal record, and the other 19% have a misdemeanor offense (think traffic violation or something to that extent).

So, if 20,000 are the "worst of the worst" (8%), that would mean that DHS has arrested a total of 250,000 people. That would mean 182,500 of them have absolutely no criminal record on file. 47,500 have a misdemeanor on their record.

This is not and never was about "law and order". It is not a criminal offense to undocumented in the US, it is a civil violation, and is to be handled by immigration judges. If you are actually caught in the act of crossing the border illegally, it is a misdemeanor, not a felony. The fact that this administration came into office and changed the rules (through executive orders, not even through Congress, which Republicans/Trump control) in the middle of the game on people doing it the right way, is corrupt. Going into immigration offices and taking people who were following the rules and checking in like they were supposed to is corrupt. Showing up at Nataralization Ceremonies and pulling people out, people that followed the rules and were set to become citizens, is corrupt. Racially profiling people who have committed no crime, is corrupt.

I really hope that once this administration has set sail, that the US has their own version of the Nuremburg Trials........

Of course, now we can add that sending 10 thugs to wrestle and beat a US citizen, and then play judge and jury and execute him, is corrupt.

Oh please. If you actually read what he wrote, he agrees with us liberals that the shooting wasn’t justified, even with that extra piece of information the liberals missed. He just wants us liberals to know though that we did, in fact, miss that piece of information when we came to our conclusion, while he didn’t. And that’s what matters. Dude’s the ultimate back slapper.

its hilarious these constitutional cosplayers like certain people on here, these temu nazis, who are finally seeing what they've used for justification their entire lives and now it just.....doesnt matter. they are now saying alex committed a felony so its ok, but ashli babbit was still a tragedy
 
For most of the handgun slingers, the sole purpose of their support for 2A is furthering their fantasy of blowing away a bad guy (especially a minority) before the cops do. The hardcore sovereign citizen types are a minority who are already committed to going down shooting if the feds show up (see: Weaver, Randy).

They would/will be treated as felons if they approach feds stopping someone, no different from anyone else. But of course, they love this and agree with what is happening, so why would they worry? And in the bathtub fart bubble that is their media, he and Renee Good may as well have been brandishing and so both deserved it.

Irony is lost on them.
