Worth noting that this was the account that they had up in the situation room and this guy has been known to be shady.
Well, it is sounding like the Oil Companies want nothing to do with the "take over". They are not sure of the condition of the infrastructure and the costs that would be incurred to get them up to par. Sounds like most of the execs feel it would take a long time before seeing any profits for upgrades, or making up for any monies lost when Venezuela nationalized the oil fields and kicked out the companies. It turns out to be cheaper to take over another country's oil production. Especially since oil companied are not paying for the invasion.
Surely our government won't foot the bill to modernize them.Well, it is sounding like the Oil Companies want nothing to do with the "take over". China is going to take all of Africa. I was talking with a co-worker from Tanzania a few months back and he said that when Doge went in an axed all the global efforts the US was doing, China stepped up their game. They already had a foot hold across the continent, negotiating with the nations to come in, and were building infrastructure for the sake of building infrastructure. With the US exposure eliminated, China was expanding rapidly.
