Snopes is not to be trusted...they were caught a couple of times last summer "massaging the truth" about things he said to make it seem false when it definitely was not false.

(in this case they are likely right)

When asked for a response Matt Yglesias said "I agree with Matt Yglesias that the economy is all that matters", Ezra Klein thought it was "interesting" but largely dismissed it and Gavin Newsom said he would have more to say on his podcast next week when Nick Fuentes stops by.

I liked Yglesias and Klein when they were at Vox. Now Vox is paywall bullshit, and those two became chuds.

For me klein had some interesting things to say at Vox. I literally don’t remember Matty Y there.

As for the paywall, I have no issues with paywalls. People deserve to get paid.
