DU looked much better tonight than I've seen them in awhile. No goals yet, but an encouraging start to the game.

0-0 end 1st

Got home late and only saw last half of the period. Good game so far. Neither team making any bonehead plays, game has a good flow, only 1 penalty to Gophers in the period. DU 0 for 1 on PP.

It does seem like there are a lot of Freshmen on the ice at any one time.:eek:

Gophers seemed better in the 1st part of the period with DU coming on in the2nd half. Adjusting to the big ice?

There are 6 playing on the ice for DU and Murray is on the bench as the back-up goalie.

Would like to think DU got all of their less than well executed plays done with in the 1st half of the period. :D

Knowlton over Dewhurst tonight--Interesting...

Ryder back home in Denver. Flu? Gwoz's doghouse?
Nutini seems to be playing better than last year, athough he hasn't played in all the games. Brookwell tomorrow? Replacing...?

DU has an excess of d-men and someone is going to get left home every road trip. Have no clue on Ryder being left home this week. I would expect Brookwell in tomorrow replacing whoever has a bad night tonight. I would expect Knowlton to sit tomorrow and Dewhurst to be in there. I listened to Gwoz this morning and it sound like he will evaluate the goalie situation after every game but I would expect Murray to be in there tomorrow.
