Ummm, can you READ? Amazing. I remember MANY conversations at the Sully with you ragging on the refs. Maybe I am more verbal than you are, but don't delude yourself.

Holy ****, I miss one game and the world falls apart.

Time to put Frank Xavier in the nets.

I about died when I read this. My eyes were tearing. Frank was from Denver and was about 5' 7", 120 lbs soaking wet. My senior year in 1978 he was walk-on forward and if I recall correctly may have dressed for an exhibition game and maybe the AF game that year. If one of the goalies couldn't practice he volunteered to put on the pads. He ended up playing 84 games and getting 28 goals and 38 assists for 66 points as a forward and d-man, not bad. Now about his goaltending career. He actually started two games after I left and went 0-2-0. He gave up 15 goals on 72 shots for a .792 save % and a 7.50 GAA.

Now I know why du78 went to Providence--not because of his kids--because of THIS!

Yeah, I must be the lucky charm. I got to watch the Providence b-ball team beat Stonehill 91-55 last night, a real nail biter.

Suze is awesome (and so is her husband). That's my only silver lining in this debacle. I blame (because we always have to point the finger, right) du78. His sole selfish reason of leaving the board to see his son purely and solely cost DU this game. Shame, shame, shame on him!

He must be taken to task for this desertion in the line of duty.
