Interview with Joe Shawhan:

-Close relationship with Stewie, Hartigan. Discussed Stewie's tendency to come to life in the 2nd half of the game.
-Finally happy to have a permanent place on the NMU staff. Had opportunities to go elsewhere, even turning down a USHL gig in Indy, but loved the benefits of staying in Marquette and NMU.

Radio feed issues being reported world wide, from Germany to Alaska. In other news, NMU seems to have picked up a world wide listening audience. ;)

Discussion of the LSSU/Western Ontario game last night-- Brian Mahoney-Wilson allowed 5 goals on 18 shots. :eek:

Trying out a new proposed rule--no shorthanded icing. Experimental rule for the exhibition only. Also, no line changes on the icing.

Mushalla for interference is the call.


Shorthanded icing rule seems to go against instinct and the strategy taught from mites on up.
