Drinking Thread: Three Sheets To The Wind

Re: Drinking Thread: Three Sheets To The Wind

Noble Vines Rosé. Never had this one, so I took a chance and was not impressed. I'll stay with my St. Julian Social Butterfly.

Re: Drinking Thread: Three Sheets To The Wind

Noble vines’ Cabernet and Merlot are decent table wines available everywhere. But I tend to stick with the Cote du Rhônes

Re: Drinking Thread: Three Sheets To The Wind

Middle Sister Sweet & Sassy Moscato.

And I did something else tonight. I boasted that Party/Fills Her Glass to the Rim Amber Marie was here, and I was having a full glass 3-4 days a week. Realizing it wasn't doing me any good, I cut drinking back to one day a week, and then I only filled the glass halfway up tonight. Small victory, yes, but small victories add up.

Maybe I am one of those **** Millenials; I've come to enjoy Rosé. Drank Clos du Bois on Sunday, and looking forward to trying even more.

In the beer world, it's a minor fad right now. I haven't had any of them, but have seen quite a few Rose Beer styles floating around.

Re: Drinking Thread: Three Sheets To The Wind

Just a nice Riesling tonight. I've actually had a productive day so I'm celebrating.

Local brewery released 102 bottles of an imperial choc stout. "Thee Musketeers." :D It's delicious, they also had it on tap.

Re: Drinking Thread: Three Sheets To The Wind

So with Founders' quality going downhill along with failing to recognize that a black employee is black, I'm done with them.

Re: Drinking Thread: Three Sheets To The Wind

Well, that changes today’s plans... 😐

I know they’ve prided themselves on how inclusive they are to the LGBTIA+ (did I get that right?) community. Guess they’ve still got lots of learning to do.

I can say, anecdotally, I feel like the only people of color I ever saw working in Detroit were working the doors. Haven’t been to the GR location in a long time, because A) we’d rather hit up Perrin when we’re there, and 2) Detroit is closer to us.

For the G-Rappers mourning/waving pitchforks at Founders, might I suggest Pyramid Scheme.

If you know my interests, you'll see why once you get inside :D

Not quite a G-Rapper (I live in Holland), but if I need to go for a beer in Grand Rapids, now it's either Perrin, the Mitten, or Creston.

If any of you Michiganders (or anyone else for that matter) can get a hold of Dragon's Milk Oatmeal Cookie, DO IT. This sh* is FIRE. I dare say it's the best of all the variants I've had over the years. Unfortunately, the store I stopped at only had one bottle left. :(

I will. Their pub is downtown Holland and they have a "sidecar," a nice little store where you can buy beer and spirits. I can stop there this weekend.
