1) Norwich-huge roster; could they run the table?
2) Middlebury-great balance; getting hungry
3) Wisconsin-River Falls
4) Plattsburgh-really young
5) Amherst-solid core
6) Gustavus Adolphus-lost a lot
7) Elmira-always there
8) Wisconsin-Superior
9) Manhattanville-ready?
10) Bowdoin-those Black and White dreams?

1. Plattsburgh - return all of their horses (only 20 on roster though...can't afford injuries)
2. Norwich - lost some big guns brought in hyped recruiting class. Progression of Fisk in goal will be key.
3. Middlebury - agree on your sentiments obserbear.
4. Wis. River Falls - Have become the class of the NCHA over the past couple of seasons.
5. Gustavus Adolphus - Coach Carroll consistently wins 20 or more games...don't see that stopping even with losing top two scorers and Justice in goal.




6. Amherst - good group returning but can they overcome coaching changes?
7. Elmira - loss of Charron, Fargo and a couple of recruits has me wondering. Also two straight ECAC West play-in round exits...
8. Superior - return a lot. Could be darkhorse in what could end up being wide open NCHA.
9. Manhattanville - Always around.
10. St. Scholastica - another darkhorse pick. They also picked up very good goaltender in Teraysa White from NEC.

Here is my order.

1 - Norwich...Clear number one with RIT gone. They have the talent and the depth.
....Only question mark is Team Chemistry with all the new blood, but you can say that for every team with turnover.
2 - Platty...Returning all but one of their big horses
3 - Elmira...With RIT gone, will be a 1-2 punch only in the ECAC West. New Coach is a knowledgable Hockey guy from Men's.
4 - Middlebury
5 - Amherst..New coaching staff in Amherst is a big variable to see if they stay with the top pack
6 - The top two West teams...Dunno enough about them to comment.
