****! In all the excitement of the biggest Olympic Hockey upset since the 1980 Lake Placid Olympics, I forgot to post a nominations thread!


I have an article I need to write at the moment, so I'm going to say this: Nominations are due 11pm ET Tuesday, and the usual congratulatory message about Charlie Townsend will come tomorrow. Sorry guys!

Can i make a special exception this week and nominate the entire Geneseo team under the circumstances?

They beat Oswego and finished the season 6-0-1 ending the Lakers 22? game winning streak.

Adrian's Mike Dahlinger netted 3 goals and added an assist in Adrian's 6-4 win over MSOE on Friday. The hat-trick goal was significant as it was the point that made Dahlinger this years' NCAA DIII Scoring Champion.

I second this nomination. The game may have meant little in the short term, but it may be a program turning win in the long term for reasons including: a) confidence for returning players, b) for those players that have to make difficult financial decisions it may have tipped the scales, and c) recruiting / keeping current commitments

If you do have to pick one specific player from Geneseo I would throw out (as already mentioned) Cory Gershon and Stefan DeCosse (SUNYAC POW - 6 Assists.)
