I believe Colorado had to stay in Lanse (about 30 minutes from Houghton) during winter carnival a few years ago because they did not get their hotel reservations in time.

-Strong on the PK, despite inexperience

-Howe's been solid, but could be more consistent
-Expects improved defensive play as the season wears on

-Excited to head to the GLI again

Russell:

-Freshmen have combined for 38 pts., exceeded expectations so far.
-Asking a lot of them to be logging top minutes, have responded well

-PP ranked #2 in the nation (the main bright spot in the last few games, IMO)
-Too flat-footed against MN, must improve vs. CC

-Cousens not a "rah rah" guy (which I figured)
-Need other older players to step up and help

-Heinonen in tonight, Stebner in tomorrow
-Both keeping it simple and doing fine with limited ice time

Everytime I hear about Dorito on forward, it makes my mind spin, apparently Dirk doesn't know Dorito very well, he said in order to play forward, Dorito has to turn his mind off....if Dorito turned his mind off, he'd be a heap of Jello...
