Re: Detroit Tigers, Volume 9: The Carlos Guillen edition

Career hit #2400 for Miggy is a double to the wall in LC.

Re: Detroit Tigers, Volume 9: The Carlos Guillen edition

I don't care if it's already 6-0. The Tigers better tack on another 4 runs or so in the next couple innings. Right now the White Sox are playing like a bunch of Little Leaguers.

Re: Detroit Tigers, Volume 9: The Carlos Guillen edition

I'm not really sure why Mike Aviles is on this roster.

Re: Detroit Tigers, Volume 9: The Carlos Guillen edition

This is why we don't go leaving the bases loaded twice in three innings. What was once a 6-0 game is now 7-3.

Re: Detroit Tigers, Volume 9: The Carlos Guillen edition

Nice throw, Aviles. It was only up the line by about 15 feet. And about 20 feet over the cutoff man's head.

Re: Detroit Tigers, Volume 9: The Carlos Guillen edition

And we could very easily be behind here in a minute.

Re: Detroit Tigers, Volume 9: The Carlos Guillen edition

And we're tied.

That flushing sound you hear is that 7-0 2nd inning lead going down the drain.

Re: Detroit Tigers, Volume 9: The Carlos Guillen edition

Sox win in 12. Largest comeback in thirteen years for Chicago.

Tigers had two warning track power shots in extras.

Re: Detroit Tigers, Volume 9: The Carlos Guillen edition

8 run lead now down to 5.

Giving this team an early lead is like giving a race car to Stevie Wonder.

10-6 now. How many innings does it take to blow this one?

Re: Detroit Tigers, Volume 9: The Carlos Guillen edition

So the White Sox are having Mullet Week next week.....how can we tell?

Re: Detroit Tigers, Volume 9: The Carlos Guillen edition

11-6 in the bottom of the 9th, and Mark Lowe is coming in to pitch. I think I'm going to bed now. You guys know what to do next.

Re: Detroit Tigers, Volume 9: The Carlos Guillen edition

JD with a fractured elbow. 4-6 weeks, likely. It has been an honor.
