Re: Detroit Tigers, Volume 8: The Doc Cramer edition

my concern is with Gose, the guy can't hit squat. why the heck is he in there at all.?

Re: Detroit Tigers, Volume 8: The Doc Cramer edition

Red Sox announcers thought the man was safe at third. Why no challenge?

Re: Detroit Tigers, Volume 8: The Doc Cramer edition

I thought he handled the BP perfectly. so just saying..

I disagree. Simon should have been gone two batters prior. By the time Hardy was in the game, Ortiz was at the plate, the bases were loaded, and there was absolutely no margin for error. You know what happened next.

Now, the 8th inning, at that point, Hardy had a clean slate and that lies on his performance.

The only thing I can think of is that Miley is a lefty, and Rajai started in LF instead of Collins, another lefty. So, Gose in CF and Davis in LF.

Rondon. Fine. But if he gets in a jam, don't wait until the **** thing is out of control before you go get him.

7-6 final

Good enough. I'm not interested in style points.

Re: Detroit Tigers, Volume 8: The Doc Cramer edition

well I thought sandoval got rooked there, I thought it was a ball, but I'll take it. rubber game tomorrow.

Re: Detroit Tigers, Volume 8: The Doc Cramer edition

Probably. Oh well. We've taken a few in the shorts this year, too.

Re: Detroit Tigers, Volume 8: The Doc Cramer edition

And here we go with Alex Wilson

Oh, and Shane Greene back to Toledo. He needs to stay there until he has his issues worked out. Gorzelanny recalled. If you remember, Gorzelanny was DFA'd at the same time Fat Joba was. They both cleared waivers. FJ elected to become a free agent, and Gorzelanny accepted his assignment to Toledo. So that's how we still have him.

This is interesting...

Iggy was about 10 feet inside the line going to first, but at the time of the play he was in the baseline.

Ausmus might get run here.

Re: Detroit Tigers, Volume 8: The Doc Cramer edition

This is what happens when you give a team 6 outs in one inning.

Per MLB.com's Gamecast of today's game, Gose is hitting .213 with a .639 OPS. Ugh.

Over his last 15 games, .150 with a .452 OPS. That makes Don Kelly look like Ted Williams.

Feliz and Gorzelanny up in the bullpen. Right now would be a very good time to run some errands.

MARTE!!

3-2, bottom 7

Re: Detroit Tigers, Volume 8: The Doc Cramer edition

I can't believe a freaking .110 left-handed hitter is killing both our LOOGYs. This is ridiculous.

And it amazes me that we don't have someone, anyone, in our farm system that can do better than this.

Who does your radio? I was driving around and listening on SiriusXM. They seemed like they were on Prozac.
