Re: Detroit Tigers, Volume 8: The Doc Cramer edition

I remember they did the commentary for the MVP series.

Gibby is doing better tonight. Maybe he just needed a few games to get comfortable in the booth again. Although trying to predict everything before it happens is a wee bit tiresome.

Re: Detroit Tigers, Volume 8: The Doc Cramer edition

No Ortiz or Perdroia tonight and Porcello already has a wild pitch. Oy. Good crowd here considering how sucky both teams are.

Re: Detroit Tigers, Volume 8: The Doc Cramer edition

Oh, wow. This home plate ump is making orange juice behind the plate

Re: Detroit Tigers, Volume 8: The Doc Cramer edition

I do know this: Rod and Mario do NOT get along. And Mario has a sterling reputation among fellow broadcasters. That should tell us all quite a bit.

Yeah, it can be tricky to get along with a guy who cattle stampeded both teams into the outfield after getting plunked in a game in Japan.

Re: Detroit Tigers, Volume 8: The Doc Cramer edition

I would've actually felt bad if that had dropped in. As Ernie would say, Victor "stood there like the house by the side of the road."

Re: Detroit Tigers, Volume 8: The Doc Cramer edition

Hey, Rod. These balls are not being "ripped" to center field. They're dying quails, barely 60 feet into the outfield grass.

Re: Detroit Tigers, Volume 8: The Doc Cramer edition

So, Porcello and Verlander actually looked good. There's two teams wondering where the hell that was in February.

Re: Detroit Tigers, Volume 8: The Doc Cramer edition

Yeah, but they're both done. Now we wait for the fireworks to commence.

Re: Detroit Tigers, Volume 8: The Doc Cramer edition

After that, you know what's coming next.

Verlander gonna Verlander.

Re: Detroit Tigers, Volume 8: The Doc Cramer edition

Don't **** this up....please?

Aw hell, here we go.

Re: Detroit Tigers, Volume 8: The Doc Cramer edition

Mario acting like the lead off man getting on is a walk-off. What a depressing call. Sadly he's right, that's probably ballgame.

Re: Detroit Tigers, Volume 8: The Doc Cramer edition

If this goes xtras, the Sox have no reliable reliever left.

Re: Detroit Tigers, Volume 8: The Doc Cramer edition

Okay, place your bets. How do we blow this one?
