Re: Detroit Tigers, Volume 8: The Doc Cramer edition

And here's the other problem. If we buy, what do we have left that we can give up without blowing a big hole in something else? We need three pitchers, plus possibly a corner infielder.

Hope all is well with you, NL. :)

Re: Detroit Tigers, Volume 8: The Doc Cramer edition

Dixon Machado just singled in the AAA All Star game. He's our SS in Toledo, and the only middle infield prospect of any significance that we have. Probably Ian Kinsler's replacement within a year or two, assuming he's still in our organization.

VICTOR!!!

2-0, three batters in

I wonder if Victor tweaked himself hitting that. I didn't like that look on his face in the dugout.

IGGY!!!

6-2, bottom 4

It's amazing how enjoyable a baseball game can be when a team is even a little better than mediocre.

Re: Detroit Tigers, Volume 8: The Doc Cramer edition

Yes, it certainly is.

I didn't think this was going to be much, so I started watching Hard Knocks on NFL Networks.

Re: Detroit Tigers, Volume 8: The Doc Cramer edition

Time to play speed ball tonight. There's a storm-a-ragin' here on the west side. It's somewhat small but very severe, so if we're not at five innings before it hits we could be looking at a 1am finish or later.

Re: Detroit Tigers, Volume 8: The Doc Cramer edition

Great call to the bullpen here, and why are we going infield in in a double play situation?

Nevermind, wasn't double play. The graphic was run.

And a little bloop gets in. 3-0 O's. Sportz are fun.

And now they're shelling Rondon like a field of corn. This is going to be 5-0 by the time we get done screwing around.
