Re: Detroit Tigers, Volume 6: The Al Kaline edition

Only power failure is Tiger lineup. Possibly the greatest starting pitching in post season history and getting no help.

Truth.
Edit: Just saw Verlander's numbers this post-season....sick. Just sick. And he's 1-2.

Re: Detroit Tigers, Volume 6: The Al Kaline edition

Just saw tonight's lineup in the Detroit News. Jackson batting 8th, Iggy 9th. Everyone else moves up one spot. Yes, that means Miggy's hitting 2nd, Fielder 3rd, Martinez 4th...

I know you disagree with me but its about time. Now if he would only DH Miggy a game or 2 and have Vmart catch, Jhonny at 3rd.

Re: Detroit Tigers, Volume 6: The Al Kaline edition

All right, I suppose it's time to subject ourselves to this. Hopefully Fister doesn't get bombed after the Red Sox have seen Scherzer and Verlander back to back.

Re: Detroit Tigers, Volume 6: The Al Kaline edition

Well, then. That was a fine piece of hitting in the bottom of the 1st.

Re: Detroit Tigers, Volume 6: The Al Kaline edition

That should be a hit.

6-0, bottom 4, and Peavy is gone.

Re: Detroit Tigers, Volume 6: The Al Kaline edition

Honestly, I'd walk Miggy here and pitch to Fielder, lefty-righty matchup be ****ed.

Re: Detroit Tigers, Volume 6: The Al Kaline edition

Prince can Prince any time now.

And why the hell do they fake to throw to first? ...............

Never mind.....

Re: Detroit Tigers, Volume 6: The Al Kaline edition

Does that count as a steal or is that defensive indifference?

Prince strikes out to end the inning... 7-0 Tigers.

Re: Detroit Tigers, Volume 6: The Al Kaline edition

Dammit, Fister. You've got to get us through the 6th here.
