Re: Detroit Tigers, Volume 4: The Rudy York edition

Don't apologize, I was asking for the goal judge to turn on the light.

BTW, the NCAA has made goal judges optional. What about the ACHA (that sort of follows the NCAA book)??

Before I had to go get the Homer Light, I was trying to say that at Adrian, we're trying to go with a full crew for the D-1 ACHA games. For us, that means 2 goal judges, one guy for each box, one to run the scoreboard, and one with the statsheet. Oh, and one for the PA.

If this holds up, can Valverde come out to play today?

Only bad thing is having thrown 84 pitches in 5 innings it is doubtful we will see a complete game pitched even if there are no hits. Even with 4 innings left it sure sounds like the fat lady is singing.

I still can't believe they blew that. I left the arena that night when it was 6-1 and thought they had it in the bag.

That was a great play by Prince and Coke to get the last out in the top of the 8th!

Reminds me-have to get out and buy some Fancy Feast for our guys. The deserving team won. Would really be a hoot if theyend up facing the Cardinals and we have the 2 teams with the worst records in the regular season in the Series.(10 teams had better records than either of them):)
