At what point is the lead big enough that you trust the bullpen enough to not completely gas Verlander?

I'm thinking at least a touchdown, maybe with the extra point. I'd ride him to at least 120 pitches to make certain, regardless.

Verlander is at 111 through 8. Nobody even warming up in the Tigers bullpen.
