Re: Detroit Tigers, Volume 3 - The Alan Trammell version

Jackson activated also. One more move to come.

Re: Detroit Tigers, Volume 3 - The Alan Trammell version

2-2 after 5.

Verlander at 112 pitches. The Reds have fouled off 32.

Arroyo? 57. Man, McClendon's one hell of a hitting coach and instills a lot of patience into this lineup.

Re: Detroit Tigers, Volume 3 - The Alan Trammell version

I was listening as I was driving home from Ann Arbor. Of all those 32 foul balls Verlander gave up, 24 of them were with 2 strikes, according to Jim Price. That's crazy.

Why does it feel like we're down 5-2?

Re: Detroit Tigers, Volume 3 - The Alan Trammell version

Okay, we're gonna get Hernan Perez right here.

EDIT: Groundout to 3rd. Eh, fine, I guess. He didn't embarrass himself. *shrug*

Re: Detroit Tigers, Volume 3 - The Alan Trammell version

Okay, Delmon Young's got nothing on what that CF just did. Came in three steps on a ball that hit the wall.

Re: Detroit Tigers, Volume 3 - The Alan Trammell version

A go-ahead hit. Let's see if we can hold it.

Re: Detroit Tigers, Volume 3 - The Alan Trammell version

and Prince makes them pay for the first time ever that someone intentionally walked someone else to get to him.

Re: Detroit Tigers, Volume 3 - The Alan Trammell version

And with Kelly in for Delmon Young, we can give you his final batting line.

0-4, saw 6 pitches total.

3-2 final.

For once Valverde accomplished this without scaring the living crap out of us.

Re: Detroit Tigers, Volume 3 - The Alan Trammell version

I missed the game did Boesch have good at bats, or was it the same old thing? I have an opening on my fantasy team.

1st - Flied out to center
4th - Grounded out to 2nd
6th - Flied out to left
8th - Doubled to center (center fielder misplayed the ball, but still a hit) & scored winning run on Fielder's single to center

With that strikeout, Berry is 2 for his last 20.

Re: Detroit Tigers, Volume 3 - The Alan Trammell version

Angel Hernandez behind the plate. There's bound to be a gong show somewhere along the line tonight.

Re: Detroit Tigers, Volume 3 - The Alan Trammell version

Smyly is likely done after 3. That's not a small blister.

Re: Detroit Tigers, Volume 3 - The Alan Trammell version

Brandon Phillips got waaaaaaaay too cute there, and it gave us a run.

I've never liked Phillips. I've always thought he was a knucklehead.

Re: Detroit Tigers, Volume 3 - The Alan Trammell version

Wow. I didn't realize the top of the ankles was in the strike zone.
