Re: Detroit Tigers, Volume 3 - The Alan Trammell version
I don't know why the hell I'm still watching this tonight...
Sanchez: No.
Coke: Probably
Young: See Sanchez
Another one I think is going to get dealt, the more I watch him: Porcello. I expect him to be traded to a middle infielder. We haven't developed a good middle infielder since Travis Fryman, and eventually he moved to 3B.
Re: Detroit Tigers, Volume 3 - The Alan Trammell version
might indeed trade him. I like Peralta but I think he will go this off season and we would then need a ss. Miggy does not have much range and with the ss in the same boat the defense suffers. But having traded turner for sanchez I wonder if they will keep him for ego's sake, because he's worse than porcello.
Re: Detroit Tigers, Volume 3 - The Alan Trammell version
He's a free agent after this season. The problem with trading Porcello is that we'd need to replace 2 starters. I'm assuming that Smyly is going to step into the rotation, but right now I don't see a 2nd pitcher ready to do the same.
And yeah, we're going to need a shortstop badly this offseason.
Re: Detroit Tigers, Volume 3 - The Alan Trammell version
Porcello is trash. We'd be lucky to get a middle infield prospect.
He's at the bottom of the league in WHIP year after year after year and he's only getting worst. They need to trade him now why people still think he's young and it's the Tigers' defense that makes him poor instead of his arm.
