Hopefully Verlander earholes him tomorrow, to boot.

6-2 final.

surprisingly clean 9th out of Valverde.

Re: Detroit Tigers, Volume 3 - The Alan Trammell version

Bases loaded in the 9th. 1 out. We do not score.

Say goodnight.

Re: Detroit Tigers, Volume 3 - The Alan Trammell version

Hi.

It wasn't Coke's fault. When you get 5 ****ing hits in Texas and leave the bases juiced in the 9th, you get what you deserve.

Re: Detroit Tigers, Volume 3 - The Alan Trammell version

Why would I blame Coke? Leyland's the one that sent him out there to face three straight righties.

Righties on the season are hitting .391 against him.

Re: Detroit Tigers, Volume 3 - The Alan Trammell version

This is your every 5th start reminder that Rick Porcello sucks at the sport of baseball.

Sorry, Hammer.

Re: Detroit Tigers, Volume 3 - The Alan Trammell version

Jimmy just said Villareal's elbow feels a little weak.

Uh-oh...

On another note, Jimmy oughta quit chewing (and choking) while addressing the media.

Re: Detroit Tigers, Volume 3 - The Alan Trammell version

Say what you will about the Tigers leaving RISP, the pitching (specifically th ebullpen) will cost this team the division.

Re: Detroit Tigers, Volume 3 - The Alan Trammell version

I dunno. Pretty soon the schedule gets much lighter. We just went through the Yankees and Rangers and only dropped a game to CWS.

Re: Detroit Tigers, Volume 3 - The Alan Trammell version

so who thinks sanchez or coke or young will be here next year? or maybe I should say should be here next year.

Re: Detroit Tigers, Volume 3 - The Alan Trammell version

I don't know why the hell I'm still watching this tonight...

Sanchez: No.
Coke: Probably
Young: See Sanchez

Another one I think is going to get dealt, the more I watch him: Porcello. I expect him to be traded to a middle infielder. We haven't developed a good middle infielder since Travis Fryman, and eventually he moved to 3B.

DOUMIT!!

8-1 Twinkies, bottom 7

Re: Detroit Tigers, Volume 3 - The Alan Trammell version

might indeed trade him. I like Peralta but I think he will go this off season and we would then need a ss. Miggy does not have much range and with the ss in the same boat the defense suffers. But having traded turner for sanchez I wonder if they will keep him for ego's sake, because he's worse than porcello.

Re: Detroit Tigers, Volume 3 - The Alan Trammell version

He's a free agent after this season. The problem with trading Porcello is that we'd need to replace 2 starters. I'm assuming that Smyly is going to step into the rotation, but right now I don't see a 2nd pitcher ready to do the same.

And yeah, we're going to need a shortstop badly this offseason.

Re: Detroit Tigers, Volume 3 - The Alan Trammell version

Hmmm. Benoit gets off the mound without a ball going bouncing around downtown Minneapolis.

Progress, I suppose.

Re: Detroit Tigers, Volume 3 - The Alan Trammell version

Porcello is trash. We'd be lucky to get a middle infield prospect.

He's at the bottom of the league in WHIP year after year after year and he's only getting worst. They need to trade him now why people still think he's young and it's the Tigers' defense that makes him poor instead of his arm.
