Dang, six more innings and we could've broken the American League record for longest scoreless game, which we also own (1909 0-0 tie vs the Senators).

Apparently we also own the longest game to end in a tie, which was 1-1 after 24 innings against the A's in 1945.

4 he time limit from listed game time. If there's a inning in progress after 240 minutes, you finish it. Results are win, loss, tie or no result.

Games that last forever (I'm looking at Boston and the Yankees) need to stop. If the game has a 7:10 start, I know I'm out of there by 1130 at the latest. I'm not going to be there until the wee hours.

Jake Rogers ends up 20 feet off 1st and gets picked off from a ball in the dirt. More dick-in-your-hand baserunning.

Fat Joe allows 4 baserunners and gets 1 out. **** poor infield defense didn't help matters one bit. 5-4 Rays - final.

I'll tell you what. For all the things I've read about Jake Rogers and his stellar defense, I'm not impressed one bit so far.

And I'm not really sure why we have a 1st baseman playing left field.

EDIT: Yup, Miggy got tossed, too. I guess they ran Miggy first, then Mt. St. Gardenhire erupted.

We were +460 tonight. With Verlander pitching it was bound to be a low scoring game. If we pull this off I think it would beat out Baltimore's win over Houston a few weeks ago as the biggest upset in the last two decades.
