CANDELARIO!!!!

2-2, top 2

Re: Detroit Tigers, Volume 10: The Tommy Bridges edition

Three things:
1) Soto is leaving the ball up in the zone
2) As a result, the Twins are hitting him hard
3) JaCoby is making a mess in CF tonight.

Re: Detroit Tigers, Volume 10: The Tommy Bridges edition

Gotta love how they interview the family of the pitcher making his MLB debut....and he gives up a bomb to the first hitter he faces right in the middle of the interview.

5-3 final.

I have no idea how we just pulled that off.

Re: Detroit Tigers, Volume 10: The Tommy Bridges edition

Tyson Ross to the IL

Castro to Toledo, Harrison activated.

Re: Detroit Tigers, Volume 10: The Tommy Bridges edition

Pretty disappointing series from Twins standpoint. But kudos on getting a split. Got the outs when they really mattered several times this weekend.

Re: Detroit Tigers, Volume 10: The Tommy Bridges edition

7-0 Stros in the top of the 3rd. Carpenter's at 54 pitches with 1 out.

Bring me another smurf.

Re: Detroit Tigers, Volume 10: The Tommy Bridges edition

George Springer with an inside-the-park job off of BUCK FUTTER!!!

9-1 Stros, top 5.

JACOBY!!!!

2-1 Stros, bottom 3

Re: Detroit Tigers, Volume 10: The Tommy Bridges edition

Zac Reininger now pitching. Now would be a good time to go do.....anything.

Re: Detroit Tigers, Volume 10: The Tommy Bridges edition

I don't know if that's a catch or not, but the Marlins are doing everything they can to blow this. It's 4-4 in the 9th, and either way, the run is going to count.

Re: Detroit Tigers, Volume 10: The Tommy Bridges edition

By arguing that last replay call, Gardenhire has been tossed.

Re: Detroit Tigers, Volume 10: The Tommy Bridges edition

Saw a highlight of the "catch." Yeah, I probably would've gotten tossed as well.

It's an automatic ejection if you argue a replay decision.

This team, as a whole, is so ****ed up when it comes to their mentality at the plate. We're seeing guys either getting punched out on strikes, or swinging at pitches 2 feet out of the zone or above their necks.

This slump could really get out of hand in a hurry if we're not careful.

FWIW, I think he probably caught that one.

Well, now I saw the slo-mo straight forward view and it looks a lot more like a transfer. Real time it looks bad, though. I'm surprised more managers don't get tossed arguing replay. I guess it's gotten better the last couple seasons, but some of the decisions are just baffling.

Love losing to the team that saw Major League and thought the owner's idea was actually a good one.
