Detroit Lions 2017: Just One Playoff Victory. Please?

Re: Detroit Lions 2017: Just One Playoff Victory. Please?

So a fan posted something racist on Snapchat.

The Lions banned him from Ford Field.

It was about a pair of black fans who refused to stand for the anthem.

Back up the popcorn truck.

Holy f-ck. The Lions may be legitimately good.

The G'ints looked like poop but I'm very impressed by the Lions.

That was fun. I like the youngsters, especially the punt returner doing his Mel Gray impersonation. And the MLB being Chris Spielman. A few more games like that, and I'll remember their names.

I'll hold off on being impressed until we see how they look against the Falcons. In fact, their next 3 opponents (Falcons, @ Vikes, Panthers) are a stretch where they could just as easily go 0-3 as they could 2-1.

Mr Gray used the Lions roster as a retirement home

I did not know this. I just remember the Hart-to-Grey dagger. Everywhere on the field was the red zone.

Caldwell receives multi-year extension.

So... is Quinn settling for early playoff exits and routinely finishing second to the Packers?

Improving the franchise from shyte to mediocracy is still an improvement. Not sure it's worthy of a multiyear extension but still an accomplishment for a Detroit coach. Sad but true
