I'm assuming this is for "medicinal" use and I'm further assuming that there are all sorts of controls on who gets it and who doesn't. Yeah. Hey man, it's Dave. LOL.

Gwoz with huge shout out for Rock and Ruegs--how their decision to come back for their senior seasons was crucial. And that in his opinion, Chevy's been our best player all year long, hands down. And he'd be very surprised if Chevy's not one of the final three for the Hobey.

Gwoz sounds like he is on Cloud 9. Congrats to Gwoz, his staff and the players on an outstanding season so far. Giving props to all his players. Chevy, best player on the team, best player in the league and if he isn't one of the Hobey Hat Trick finalists he'll be shocked. If you told him two years ago that Rock and Ruegs would be here for their senior years he would be shocked.

Jay fed Gwoz that stuff about the last team to win the McNaughton and the NC (aside from DU) was Northern Michigan. Gwoz responded by saying all he cared about was the last time DU won the McNaughton, we also won the NC.
Really, this game has to be some sort of all time low for Jay. Maybe he needs to go to the Porter joint replacement center and load up.

See. He tries to create scenarios (as Hannibal Lector would say) and he can't even get it right. He'd been saying that all evening, and I didn't remember the Sioux or, even worse, check him out. Huge mistake on my part. No offense intended to the Sioux.

None taken, and I primarily pointed it out because I saw some of your criticisms of him earlier.
Sometimes people talk about NMU as the last team to win the Mac outright and the Natl. Championship. UND and MN shared the Mac in '97, but I think DU shared it with CC in '05, too.
Congrats to the Pios. They've certainly been the WCHA's best team.

You're exactly right. In the final series, CC won on Friday night and they had a trophy presentation ceremony. DU won on Saturday night, and they had another trophy presentation ceremony. Pretty cool.
Our pbp guy is, uh, challenged. Most of us watch the games on FSN, but this series we had to listen to the radio broadcasts, and it's always such a shock to hear this guy.
DU's had a really interesting year. And the Sioux were never the same without Genoway. I'm hoping he can return next season.
