A Bus..
To Denver..
I guess they thought, well we don't have a chance at this thing so we might as well save some money.
I had a picture in my head like the scene in Hoosiers, but I don't think that they will have a string of cars behind them.

LetsGoDU has complete Bus Ride coverage from Mankato to Denver, including points of interest along the way, college hockey bus ride fun facts, video links and hopefully a GPS Mileage tracker so fans can keep track of the trip across Nebraska.

I don't know what the big deal is. I rode a bus from Mpls. to Denver back in college, not that hard. That's how we did ski trips back when I was young (you know, before the Wright brothers and all that flying stuff). We read, slept and played cards - the real students actually studied. Oh yeah, we drank some too. I don't suppose the lost cows will drink.

I usually root for the Mavs when they aren't playing the Gophers, but I can't this time around. Them dropping off the TUC cliff would help Minnesota a great deal.

Mankato usually plays Denver fairly tough, but they haven't won at Magness in quite awhile. If this series was in Mankato I'd almost pick Mankato in 3, but at Denver I don't see Mankato pushing this to three games. If Mankato does win a game though, it will likely go down to the final day of the year to determine whether or not the Mavs are a TUC.

Rumor has it there were no flights available last minute. How many travel, 30 or so with coaches/equipment people/etc...?

No rumor, the Mavs were unable to secure enough seats for the team to fly. Spring break creates other problems aside from low student attendance at games. Wisconsin had the same issue going to C. C. The Wisco program has deeper pockets and they secured a charter flight.....big bucks no doubt.

Really hoping for 2 wins by the Pioneers--preferably Friday and Saturday!
Having a game 3 for all the marbles is just too hard on the alumni.
