Yep, they are the little engine that could of the conference tourny. Sounds like UMD stayed cold. It will be interesting to see what sort of mental effort DU puts forward tomorrow. BSU will come out ready to pounce. We've dropped to a three seed and a win tomorrow by BSU would most likely push us down to a four seed. Which means we'd most likely face Michigan or BC in the first round which sounds like a death sentence to me. All that to say, if you can't get up for this game, you've got no business in the post season. Fish or cut bait DU.

As a Beaver fan, that was a really fun game. Clean, few stoppages not to mention a very impressive showing from the UND fans to help fill the seats. It did lack some hitting if anything. Hopefully tomorrow's game will be as entertaining. Both games in Denver were one goal games before empty netters if I recall. It will be fun to see Zucker play in his future arena, hopefully not too soon but hopefully not too far off either...

With CC's win tonight, DU is the #7 seed (a 2 seed). I like DU's chances tomorrow afternoon. A win tomorrow likely locks up a #2 seed for DU. Should be a good game but DU needs to play a full 60 minute game and have their talent take over the game. Need to use their speed and be good on special teams. Sam Brittain will be in goal for the Pios.

78--My bad on the three seed call. I'm glad that a drop would lead to three seed instead of a 4. When's the last time this team played a full 60 minutes bro? Beavers have a red hot goal tender, If we're slow outta the gate we're toast. First 10-15 minutes is key.

Can't have a slow start tomorrow. Need to come out of the gate at full steam. Need to get lots of traffic in front of the goal and shoot from everywhere. Have to score on the PP. Sam needs to be on his game from the get go. Its one and done time baby!!!

I agree with all you said, du78. But I just really want our D to play very responsibly in the first period. If DU can't score in the first, please don't give up odd man rushes because defensemen take ill advised risks. I really would like the team to play with a lead for once.
Good thing is, they are used to playing from behind, so it won't freak them out to play from behind.

What a story this BSU team!! All season long the story was UNO and the Beavers wishing they were having their kind of a season. Now here we are in the post season with the tables turned. I'm happy for their team, but not too happy. I would love to see DU come out flying this afternoon!! Assure ourselves of a number 2 seed, bump CC out of there, hell, win the Broadmoor while we're at it. basically I want it all!!!!!
