DU took the first game 3-1. The Bulldogs will try to even it up tonight.

Heard this afternoon that Jack Bruce of Cream passed away today. One of my all time favorite bands.

We had a Marine news announcer on the Far East Network in Tokyo who would occasionally use the phrase "hard word" when he ran into a word he couldn't pronounce. As in: "North Vietnamese troops advanced along the hard word river. . ." He got away with it until one night the Colonel's wife heard him. Might be something Jay would want to emulate.

My cousin is listening to this game, working all night tonight on the Superior Coal docks, loading a 1000 foot cargo boat with coal, to be sailed down to Detroit Edison....... just sayin
