The waved off goal was pretty much offset by a 9-5 UND PK advantage and a 5 on 3 for almost the full two minutes. Pretty much evened out.
Both teams had plenty of chances to score.

yes the officials needed to keep the game safe and under control (Swami school of officiating) so taking away a North Dakota goal was necessary.

And before Puck responds: we're all well aware of your stance that everything evens out in the end, and every team is in control of their own fate; no matter the circumstances.

Hakstol said the refs told him the waved off goal was due to Knight interfering with a DU defenseman, not Cheverie. The TV announcers said goalie interference, but it never was. That would explain the lack of a review. The play was dead before the goal.

It's irrelevent other than the review didn't happen than. The call was very very weak if you watch the replay the goal should have stood. But in the end, it matters little now and the Sioux just need to regroup and win tonight.
