We're just now beginning to turn the corner with the D-Rah, after the preposterous assertion by Dan "Chancellor for Eternity" Ritchie that HE had the authority and mandate to change our fight song. The graphics on the "new" version are fine and I have no problem using them in Magness, but the tune is not the same and should not be used, period.

Gwoz says no question the team wanted the Gold Pan. Last night was a downer. Worst celebration of a MacNaughton presentation Gwoz had ever seen. Contributions from all 4 lines. Freshmen still make mistakes, but have learned and are becoming more confident. Knows next week Tech will compete. Great respect for their team ethic.

Yeah, I frickin' love Damien (yeah I said it) but that new version is a joke. I do actually own a small audio (music) studio and was trained/educated in various forms of music -- especially remix/electronic and it just doesn't cut it. A remix/re-mash (which is what that version essentially is) should at least resemble the original, in my opinion. Sorry, but I thought that was a hack-job. Nothing that sounded like that would come out of my studio -- that's for sure.
