Gunning For 10
The No. 9/8 Pioneers captured the Gold Pan last night and look to solidify their PWR and WCHA in the World Arena against CC tonight at 7:07 PM (MT). There is no TV tonight. The radio broadcast is on 102.3 FM ESPN (KDSP - Denver) with Jay Stickney (play-by-play) and Mark Rycroft (Color) on the call. The audiocast is available on Pioneer Vision at www.denverpioneers.com for a fee.

Glad you've still got power and that you'll be with us tonight. It was a close call for me. I went out to celebrate winning the "coveted" Gold Pan and woke up this morning underneath a cement chess board in Encanto Park. The details are a little hazy.

That save Jussi made on McDermott put me in mind of Glenn Hall. That's at least two OMG saves this season. And each one preserved a tie.

Rycroft calling out Josiah Dider as someone who played very well last night. Given that he had very little good to say last night, especially concerning the defense, this is high praise for a guy who has been one of my favorite pios ever since he started out.
