No. 3 seed Denver (24-12-4) plays No. 2 seed University of Minnesota - Duluth (24-8-6) in the semifinals of the 2012 Red Baron WCHA Final Five on Friday, March 16. Puck drop is set for 1:07 p.m. MT at the Xcel Energy Center (18,064). The game will be televised live on ROOT SPORTS, FS North and FCS Central, and broadcast live on Denver's Sports Station 102.3 ESPN. Blog and audiocast are available on www.DenverPioneers.com, while live stats are available on www.WCHA.com.

DU will need to bring its A game this afternoon, in a crib where the Dawgs won the natl championship last yr. This will be the Pios 5th game in 8 days including a couple OT's. Unheard of. Keep sucking up that flatlander O2 boys and spay da Dawgs!

Pens out skated the Rangahs from the drop of the puck. No one touched Sid the whole game. Malkin is like a bull in a China Shop. No Lundquist (sick) for Rangers which hurt them. Rangers first line is only line that scored. Good time at the game with a friend I grew up with. He used to play roller hockey with the Mullens (Pat's father and uncle).
