I'd like Mayor Pete, Biden, and Klobuchar to address this issue honestly. I don't think any of them can.

Re: Democratic Challengers 8: Candidates Can Only Work for A Vegan Farm Market

Yeah, it’s not like they haven’t spent millions creating an image and addressing that honestly would torpedo all that effort. No different than any other candidate.

I wish Bernie would address his insane spending plans honestly.

Re: Democratic Challengers 8: Candidates Can Only Work for A Vegan Farm Market

Buttigieg or Biden would agree to cuts. The rest, probably not.

Also, it's the Mayor's birthday today and the Twitter Left are getting their jollies sending him birthday wishes. :p

I wish we could get rid of Mitch

23 Trillion dollars is missing. The Republicans ALWAYS have money for their initiatives and no one says a word. Yet, when a Democrat has an initiative all anyone says is how are we going to pay for it? Really? Is that the standard?

It’s not that simple. Plenty of voters are like my dad who think all rich people worked hard and need the tax breaks to create jobs. It’s wrong but it doesn’t mean people get it.
You can’t just say free stuff with no plan to pay for it and expect enough people to understand.
It sucks, but we can’t wave a wand and fix it, and we are stuck with the EC for now. So it’s not too much to lay out how to pay.
And of course those of us with brainpower know we could rescind those cuts and pay for a lot

Yeah, that’s the standard.

The 32 billion tax cut windfall the major banks pulled in plus the 28 billion in farm bailouts from a forced trade war would pay for about 1.3 years of free college, or be about 65% of the way to canceling medical debt, or cover Bernie’s HBCU revitalization plan three times over.

But it’s not a new aircraft carrier so it’s not important.

Rescind the Trump tax cuts. Cut the military budget by 1/3 (start by canceling that effing "Space Force" hullabaloo) and stop building the racist wall. Pay down some debt. Cancel the withdrawal from the Paris Agreement.

We have to clean-up President Beta Carotene's mess before we start studying new programs.

Space force is the smartest money we’re spending at the minute.

He has, your failure to comprehend basic econ is on you.

You're talking to a 90's Republican so don't expect a non-disingenuous response.

A 90s Republican? Hey dx, I guess you're basically Newt Gingrich now. :D

Seems like most of my friends are in the Mayor Pete Fan Club.

I'm still planning on voting for Warren with Sanders at #2. Biden is like 7th. Tulsi isn't even on my list.
