Wow, there's a change, a woman telling Joe yes :D ;)

I dont think Amy wants Veep...she probably wants AG or something similar. Plus she adds little to his ticket. Could be way off though.

She wants to be POTUS. If she’s offered VP or AG, I’d think she’d choose VP, especially with Biden either being a one-term President, or potentially dying in office. Even if he miraculously made it through two terms, I’d have to think VP is a better stepping stone to the presidency than AG.

Re: Democratic Challengers 2020 - 12: The End of the Beginning

She will never be a legit contender for President. (imho)

Put her in either and then put Al back in the senate

She'd be a legit contender....contender being the key word, IMO. Cue up the old saying of "always a bridesmaid..."

Harris would be an ideal AG, unless Holder was willing to do it again (he isn't).

Anybody wants Veep with an Old President.

I fully agree Amy adds nothing but she is the kind of person Biden would be comfortable with. Centrist, white bread, non-entity. She'd be his Tim Kaine.

Yeah. Let's make that ****ing mistake again.

I didn't watch. Who won? IYHO.

Judging by certain segments of a certain candidates fanbase...Biden did well enough to get them on tilt to Trumpian levels. If only they voted as much as they tweeted :p

Not sure who's running Uncle Joe's campaign but him announcing that he'd definitely choose a woman for VP is what broke through all the noise in terms of news coverage of the debate. Smart move. Curious what turnout is going to be like tomorrow though will all the restrictions on leaving your house.

Agreed. Ordinarily I hate veep sneak peaks but this was smart. Took a lot of the air out of the "no diversity!" pouters, too.

So, now that Joe has announced he's picking a woman, what's the countdown on Pence getting thrown under the bus for Nimrata Haley? :D

Re: Democratic Challengers 2020 - 12: The End of the Beginning

Plus it relegated the "Biden Lied" BS to an after thought amongst the true believers.

Joe and his staff have run circles around Bernie this season.

I really didn't want him to be President but I will say thing, he seems to know how to hire people who know what the **** they're doing. Hopefully we have the greatest cabinet in US history next cycle because we ****ing need it right now.

I know this is the DNC thread, but on the GOP side, it's a shame that Pence is so "Christian Taliban" in his treatment of women, because him and Nikki would wipe the floor with Trump.

I’d love to believe his cabinet would be great but Obama’s cabinet was chosen by Citicorp and old Joe has singled out Jamie Dimon and others with heroic sympathy (not) to the poor and middle class as potentials for his cabinet.

Bernie should leave now. He didn’t fight the corruption in 2016 and refused to call out the rigging against him and he’s flatly refusing to fight for the job this time. And I mean in part Playing nice to pro-War Joe is akin to giving up. F that. Fight or get out of the way.
