Democratic Challengers 2020 - 12: The End of the Beginning

Of course joe is voting Biden. Abortion rates have dropped under Democratic presidents while holding steady under GOP presidents: https://qz.com/857273/the-sharpest-...merica-have-been-under-democratic-presidents/

Who would have thought that having sane leaders who trust doctors and scientists promoting safe sex or, even at a minimum, teaching exactly what happens during sex is a better alternative to the GOP method of ignoring the issue and "let's just stick this in here and find out what it does."

Oh goodie. 4Chan is going to be busy.

<blockquote class="twitter-tweet"><p lang="en" dir="ltr">Russian propagandists predicted that in the event Sanders does not receive a nomination, street protests and violence will follow: “There will be unrest in Milwaukee… There will be a repeat of the 1968 Democratic Convention [riots] in Chicago.” <a href="https://twitter.com/hashtag/Russia?src=hash&ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw">#Russia</a><a href="https://t.co/ODSQr3t1MJ">https://t.co/ODSQr3t1MJ</a></p>— Julia Davis (@JuliaDavisNews) <a href="https://twitter.com/JuliaDavisNews/status/1236665073583763457?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw">March 8, 2020</a></blockquote> <script async src="https://platform.twitter.com/widgets.js" charset="utf-8"></script>

So now when ballots get "lost" (or added) it's 5k at a time instead of a box at a time.

That's nice.

I vote we have a law where if a Presidential race's official result is different from the exit polling we have a re-vote under UN supervision.

Exactly. I love this idea of a re-vote where official results conflict with exit polling and the U.N. Monitoring would be great as well.

Just imagine IF this were to be suggested and accepted John Bolton’s (and numerous other gop) Head would explode ala Mars Attacks!

They weren't called Reagan Democrats cause they voted for Socialists. They were called Reagan Democrats cause when they weren't voting for Reagan, they were voting for people like Biden.

I know, but I think there’s an overlap within these voters where they want to break from the status quo. Bush and Obama disappointed them and so they went outside the box. I could be wrong but with a 4-year sample size I think many of these “vote against the status quo” voters would vote for Sanders to reject the idiocy of Trump who, as it turns out, didn’t “drain the swamp” nor assisted the poor and middle class in any way.

We can still have a paper back-up with a thumb drive, it's just the means where the data is transferred from the precinct to the count. And to be honest that is way more secure than the open internet. There's a reason we air gap secure networks.

Unless people "lose" the thumb drives.

Digital voting is a perfectly viable method -- it's why we don't write checks for everything anymore. But just as there is an encrypted backbone for financial transfers, we need one for elections. I mean FFS it's the same exact requirement -- we should just tweak point of service grocery store machines and vote at the checkout line.

No it is not. I know it is not.

You're wrong. They want the status quo. Which is why they couldn't vote for "that biitch" nor for the radical socialist. Donald Trump was a billionaire, they saw him on their teevee. Wall Street, big business, 'Murica!!!.

Profiles in courage: Harris endorses Biden.

Re: Democratic Challengers 2020 - 12: The End of the Beginning

It makes me sad - I really like his spirit - but Bernie is flaming out in an irredeemable way. After his rant yesterday about how the deep state conspired to sabotage Mayor Pete’s campaign, no smart politician will have anything to do with him. I wish he would have gone with a positive campaign about what he wants to accomplish rather than all this Trumpish fear mongering about conspiracies,

Sanders is what he is. People like him do not go gently into that dark night and they don't make a lot of "half friends." The pundits would have hated Tom Paine too. So divisive.

When democratic socialism is taken for granted as the basic operating condition of the US economy by both parties in 2050, Sanders will be considered a trailblazer. He will be revered once he is safely dead.

Right now he's ugly and mean and self-defeating, but he's making it possible for AOC to dance at her inauguration.

John Adams was a d-ck, too.

I’m writing this down so that in 30 years I can call you to gloat about how pie-eyed you were, from the People’s Free Democratic Socialist Republic of Barron’s Michigan Estate.

If Sanders voters think they're the future of the party I'm not going to argue with them. 20 years from now they may very well be. However in the here and now we need to elect Joe Biden President if he's the nominee. If we don't Chump and the treasonous money laundering cult will pretty much outlaw voting for Democrats, socialists, moderates and anybody else not on board with their nutjob agenda. If you don't like the status quo, after 4 more years of Trump the status quo is going to look like the Garden of Eden.

If it is Biden, then I'm marking that box in November.

Sanders and Sanders voters have had over 4 years to figure things out. If they haven't by now it's probably too late.
