Get the Veep position for a future run at prez. Play the game, act like you can go either Prog or Mod. Then win.

Didnt work for Kasich and it wont work for her if that is her plan. She has no chance coming out of a brokered convention especially if it goes to a second ballot. No SD is voting for her.

She didnt even do well in her home state...she is DOA. If she is staying in trying to win her ego is writing checks her body cant cash.

Not sour at all. Please stop projecting your image of Sanders supporters on me. Enjoy your win in whatever way you want. You guys have earned it; Biden did come back from the dead and timed the endorsements perfectly.

It is striking to me that the assumption is that Sanders people are awful human beings who won't support the ticket, but the reaction tonight has been a full scale "See? Go f-ck yourselves, Sanders! Nya nya!" from Centrists. So... who are the people who are actually demonstrating selfishness in the event?

Let's see if the Biden fans can practice what they preach and not be d-cks about it. It will be instructive. If they can, that's very good moving forward. If they can't, well, they'll get the nominee they want but also show that in the end it wasn't actually the Sanders folks who were the jerks. Pretty simple and entirely within your power.

I don't like her as a Veep, other than keeping someone in check. But it would be step towards prez. Long game.

And again, by staying in I think she's only hurting Bernie which of course is strange since she's more like him than she is Biden.

I agree she's dead; I'm just thinking that's what her plan is.

I think this sets her up as going back to the Senate to be a powerful and influential and popular choice. And in the Senate she can stay there another 20 years and not even seem that old.

I sense a tremendous feeling of relief that Sanders' front runner status is either gone or all but gone. I could be warping that through my disappointment, but there certainly seems to be a lot of glee.

On my end, it's not glee. It's a feeling that he is way out of touch on what he could really do. He never compromised in his campaign, and if people went against him, he claimed it was a railroad job.

Yeah, don't need that. We need pragmatism, some leeway, something. This extremism has to stop somewhere.

Not to mention I was a full on Warren supporter just like you and the last couple weeks have been full on talking up Bernie. The only one projecting here is you...

Just because I can see that math isnt on Bernie's side doesnt mean I am happy Biden is winning.
