To be honest the more I read about him the more he seems like a complete jerk and everybody's trying to pawn it off with "haw, haw, that's our Rip..." Kinda like the way Dump will be eulogized.

But I don't care. He was great in about twenty things that were terrible and that's Harry Dean Stanton territory. May he drink with Errol Flynn and Fatty Arbuckle tonight.

There's a common joke played on Twitter where someone says RIP whatever celebrity and includes a picture of a different one. Another one I saw for Rip Torn was with a picture of Brian Cox.

I see it on Fark, and the joke is to post a celebrity with a similar name, i.e. "RIP Rip Taylor" for Rip Torn.

MR. ERNIE BROGLIO, 83, passed away last night (7-16-19) per information from his daughter. He was a league leading 21-9 in 1960 with the Cardinals. RIP.
