That crap came after Balin left, and they hired that hack Mickey Thomas, dropped the 'Jefferson' and totally sold out and went chasing the money. Plus, that was when I was 25.

Early Jefferson Starship was basically Airplane without Jorma and Cassidy, maybe a bit of a smoother sound. I gotta dig out my albums and give them a re-listen.

Miracles, which, whenever I hear it, always reminds me of the '75 World Series, was such a huge hit for them at the time, that they had to try to duplicate it on their next album.

Scott Wilson, 76. Best known to us youths as Herschel in The Walking Dead. Very long career as a good character actor.
