Days Since Last Mass Shooting: 0 - II

Re: Days Since Last Mass Shooting: 0 - II

There's a place in Vegas called "Battlefield Vegas" that has every combat weapon known, ranging from '03 Springfields to modern gattling guns.

I'd be checking my inventory very carefully this AM if I were them.

It's called defending yourself. Something that crowd couldn't do because it was a "gun free zone".

Except people with guns arent defending themselves or others against crimes. So your argument doesnt hold much water.

300 million guns in the US. Less than 1% of crime is a gun used (by anyone) to defend against it.

Includes all those gun loving states that have seen more crime as they loosen gun restrictions.

I am sure we are mere hours away from you telling us this didnt happen. Gotta wait for youtube to say it though...

I'm sure Alex is hard at work fabricating the false flag story for his apparatchiks to propagate. After he's had his morning pint of drugstore vodka to keep the shakes at bay, of course.

Re: Days Since Last Mass Shooting: 0 - II

that's why the "we don't need gun control, we need better mental heath treatment" argument is flawed. The only thing that will reduce mass shootings is a massive reduction in the number and types of weapons in circulation and a much more difficult procurement process. That has a 0% chance of happening in this country, so this is just a fact of life in America now. There is nothing we are willing to do about it.

Talk to Europe. They've done exactly what you're calling for. How is that working out for them? Or is it OK because the mass killings don't involve that evil gun?

Drunk driver kills someone, we blame the driver, not the car. So why are we going after the implement instead of the person here?

Re: Days Since Last Mass Shooting: 0 - II

The best way to limit this would have been to previously have reasonable gun ownership restrictions, limits on semi automatic weaponry, a verifiable 'no guns policy' in high rise hotels, and a more significant police presence at major events.

We've been taking about this for a decade plus...has to be taken seriously.

That and people with mental illness aren't necessarily more likely to harm people https://ontario.cmha.ca/documents/violence-and-mental-health-unpacking-a-complex-issue/

There's also an automatic weapon shooting range nearby. Wouldn't be surprised if that starts getting "involved"...

Are mass shootings the problem you and others want to make them out to be? They get a lot of press, but things like car crashes, cancer, and heart attacks kill thousand times more people.

When will idiots ever learn that criminals don't follow laws...

Same could be said about what race people are in killings. Only white on black gets attention because it fits the narrative of the agenda that racism still exists so the baiters can stay prominent.

Let's bring up something completely unrelated because that's an intellectually honest way to debate things!

Flaggy not even trying to hide his racism.

We don't have a powerful group of nut jobs trying to prevent those problems from being solved.

Re: Days Since Last Mass Shooting: 0 - II

CNN has officially revised their count from "at least 20 people" to "at least 50 people" having been killed in Vegas due to this shooting.

Guns restrictions are working very well for Europe.

22 European countries have less than 20% of the murder rate in the US (<.98 vs. 4.88 murders per 100,000).

When will idiots ever learn that criminals don't follow laws...

They do in Europe.
