Dartmouth @ RPI, Sunday 3/6/22

Can think of almost nothing as much fun as watching this one with a group of folks who are all hockey crazy. Celebrated a bit too much with 5 goals for us! Jenny had to drive us home. Jericho - don't feel bad as everyone in the place felt this one ended with a few seconds left in the second period with DC scoring their 3rd goal. The boys skated off like the season was already over. Not sure what coach Smith said in the locker room, if anything, but the boys came out and for 4 minutes looked like they did when they first came out in the first tonight. The power play gave everyone a lift but the SH by Dubinsky made the bar light up (me included). Still never really saw the 4th goal go in but it counted. Anyone note that we scored 4 Power Play goals and one short handed goal tonight?? Cannot recall ever seeing that from us before. In fact, not sure i ever saw anyone do that against us ever.

The Dubinsky goal is the best goal of the season because of the moment and clutchness of it. This team simply wanted to win more than Dartmouth did and willed their way to victory in the 3rd period.

Definitely! This is a very resilient team.
Seemed to me that Dartmouth started looking pretty tired in the 3rd. And we capitalized on special teams.
Dubinsky's goal was off the charts! Like Dr. D, I still haven't seen the 4th goal.

Is for me one of the top two goals. I would put the goal Klee scored the day before also at the top of the list. First, it gave us the 2 goal need we needed to hold off DC at the end and win a game that was a must to even get to last night. But second, for a defense man who pretty much a stay at home guy to join the play, demonstrate the kind of puck control he did, and show off one of the great finishes with that quick forehand backhand forehand movement to score - just rates a fabulous!

I sat near the end where the 4th goal was scored. I couldn't see where the puck was but I went by the players' reactions. They definitely saw it in the net so I wasn't surprised that it was ruled a good goal. Great comeback. Great finish. I'm glad that after waiting 2 years to attend in person, I got to be there!
