Dartmouth @ RPI, 12/4

Re: Dartmouth @ RPI, 12/4

Coach may have to seriously consider changing up one defensive pairing. Just appears that the #19 #24 pairing gives up a bit too much and has not been able to clear the zone as well as they need to. Not sure of the +/- but that has to be better or they need to switch up the match ups

Re: Dartmouth @ RPI, 12/4

Period ends with RPI down 1-0.
We had scoring opportunities but couldn't finish. We lost most of the puck battles and our passing needs to improve.
We need to take better care of the puck in all zones.
When given the choice, we do seem to make the pass that results in the most risk. We then are faced with quick turnovers and they go the other way

Re: Dartmouth @ RPI, 12/4

after 1 period

DC 1
RPI 0

Not much to be happy about with that period. But I tend to be a glass half full guy, so maybe this is a good time to make a point that I have made a few times before: it is easy to take some things for granted but every RPI hockey nut needs to occasionally recognize that game in and game out we are provided with the best audio and video coverage of hockey (men's and women's) in the NCAA. Hats off (again) to WRPI and RPITV. And now...let's hope for the same level of performance on the ice for the next 2 periods.

Three green sweaters allowed to stand in front of the net and bang away.

The glass appears to be leaking
