Dartmouth - Cornell ECACH Semi Final 3/18 in Atlantic City

Re: Dartmouth - Cornell ECACH Semi Final 3/18 in Atlantic City

Replay on a Dartmouth shot where Garman was caught without his stick. Whitney batted it out before it could cross the line. No goal, but Whitney goes off for holding. Dartmouth back on the PP.

Re: Dartmouth - Cornell ECACH Semi Final 3/18 in Atlantic City

Dartmouth with a little more life on that PP, but still can't put it past Garman. Penalty killed. 2-0 Cornell with 5:07 left in the 2nd.

Re: Dartmouth - Cornell ECACH Semi Final 3/18 in Atlantic City

Dartmouth carrying play and getting some good chances, but Garman is sharp tonight. Cornell is in shut down mode. Hitting is picking up. 2-0 Cornell at the end of the 2nd.

Shots are 24-14 for Dartmouth. 12-3 for Dartmouth in the 2nd period.

Players continue to comment on how bad the ice is.

Re: Dartmouth - Cornell ECACH Semi Final 3/18 in Atlantic City

Dartmouth captain, Scott Fleming, interviewed btw periods: "The ice is bad".

Remind me why again this tournament is being held in Atlantic City...

Re: Dartmouth - Cornell ECACH Semi Final 3/18 in Atlantic City

Shots 1st 2nd
Dartmouth 12 12
Cornell 11 3

I think that says it all. Plenty of opportunities and, to his credit, Garman has been fantastic.

LET'S GO DARTMOUTH!

Re: Dartmouth - Cornell ECACH Semi Final 3/18 in Atlantic City

Dartmouth with a grade A chance on the PP, but a save by Garman. Cornell with a couple of shorthanded chances since Dartmouth is pressing. Nothing doing. Back to full strength.

Re: Dartmouth - Cornell ECACH Semi Final 3/18 in Atlantic City

Garman standing tall in net and keeping Cornell in front. 32 saves on the night so far, with just over 9 to play in the third.

When does Gaudet pull his goalie? Two goals down, there's no tomorrow, I'll say 3:30 out.

The Dartmouth announcer usually runs out of stuff to say after about ten seconds in between faceoffs.
These tv timeouts are proving pretty comical.

Dartmouth isn't going down quietly. Goggin with a big hit on Miller. Both teams are throwing their bodies around.
