I don't believe in "piling on" after a team takes a ridiculous loss, but man, it's hard to NOT do it in this case !!!!

Umm...Are you guys referring to the Babson Beavers gnawing a hole in mighty Norwich tonight? Or perhaps to Oswego being shellacked in Utica last week, to complete the UC season-sweep of The Lakers..? Please be more specific!

This is an odd year in D-3. There is much more parity evident than is usually the case. Be careful about how much you crow about your favorite team, or delight in some vicarious victory by proxy... That's really unbecoming of adults, and the wrong tree to bark-up, as of late. This season is looking more and more like a crap-shoot in a dark alley.

There is definitely no prohibitive #1 team in the East at present, but Hobart still remains the logical choice right now, IMO... And you might-better (grudgingly) root for UC to fare well down the stretch, since The Committee has been known to take a dim view of a potential selection that has been dominated by a "bad" team, am I right?

OK, I'll be more specific. I was talking about the Cortland mauling of UC after enduring days of bragging/complaining by other UC fans (not you).

agree... and I think its win with dignity and let the polls fall where they may....long season still ahead.should be fun

I realized that, thanks, and thus the sarcasm.

Cortland doesn't suck, and that was evident from reading their box scores. I was afraid that that game would be a trap for Utica, so I went to a party instead. (Glad I did!)

I very rarely visit another team's thread, so I have no frame of reference regarding the bragging/complaining you cite from the few UC fans on USCHO. I'd be interested to know where to look.
