Joanie Plamondon getting her first career start in net for the Cadets.

Pretty kick arse light show that the Panthers came out to with the lights dimmed. My only suggestion is they gotta keep the lights off and do strobe lights on the players for the starting lineups. Very cool though.

Kayla Parsons takes an interference penalty for Norwich...Plymouth State on the PP.

Norwich had the puck in PSU's end for a full two minutes and managed about five shots before the Panthers were able to clear.

Decent crowd starting to fill in too. I'd guesstimate 200 or so

Brittane Michaud scores her first of the season on the PP. Puts home a loose rebound off a scrum in front.

Manhattanvile/Elmira tied at one end of 20 minutes at the MAC.

NU had the puck in PSU's end for about 85% of the period.

Shots were 15-4 NU for the period.

Cadets lead 35-7 overall.

Elmira leads Manhattanville 4-2 at the end of 2 in Pine Valley, NY.

Norwich senior captain Sophie Leclerc scratched from the lineup.

Jacquie Perez, Melissa Rundlett, and Jillyane DeBus with the goals for Norwich.

Erin Banfield scored Southern Maine's goal on their very first shot and gave the Huskies a 1-0 lead before Norwich closed the period with three unanswered.

Don't usually post on the women's board but I had too...I was sitting right behind you when you posted this....I am running the clock for this game...Norwich can finish, the 3rd goal was nice...

DeBus is a finisher. That's for sure.

15 goals as a freshman last year with Elmira. She should get 20 this year in the ECAC East.

Beauty of a tip by Jacquie Perez to make it 4-1 Norwich. PP goal. Sarianne Lynn with an assist as well as Brittany Sharman. Lynn continues her impressive start to the season for the Cadets.
