Elmira leads 3-0 after two periods of play.

Katy Walker with 2 goals and Lauren Campbell has the other for the Soaring Eagles.

EC completely dominating and hemming NEC into their end of the zone. White is playing incredible for NEC or it would be 6 or 7-0.

Shots are 34-6.

EC starting third period with 4:15 left of a 5 minute power play for cross checking. Thankfully EC player (Tori Charron) looked okay but she took a straight cross check right to the chest and fell on her head.

Wow, and this is the NEC that was picked by the coaches to finish 5th in the conference, and they could only manage 7 SOG? Prezde - did you see the game? Was Elmira that good or is NEC overrated in the ECAC East? Good thing they still have White in net...

Not always. I saw Norwich unleash 62 shots on the Castleton goalie last year and only managed to put 2 in and that was late in the season I believe.

I believe the first goal was by Straus (#21), Kurth (#19) assist. Could be wrong...
Second goal was Kurth from Straus.
Great game and atmosphere!
