D3 League vs League

RIT Fan

GO TIGERS!
Does anyone know if there's a stats page out there that has breakdowns of the win/loss records of all the non-conference games.
I would be curious to see the w/l record of the ECACW vs ECACE vs NESCAC is to date for this year. And I guess I'd be interested in seeing the MIAC vs NCHA too.

USCHO used to keep track of this but I think with the site change over, it's been screwed up and no longer works correctly. Look under the D-III women's stats comprehensive page.

A quick scan shows NCHA is 18-12-1 vs MIAC

Of Course Marian, Finlandia and CUW are 0-7-1

Nescac is 7-9 out of conference

ECAC-W is 16-5-1

ECAC- E is 10-19-1, Holy Cross, St. A's responsible for 5 of those wins

I"m not familiar enough with which conference some of the lesser known teams in the East are in to efficiently figure out ECAC-w vs ECAC-e and etc.

Another quick scan (before shoveling)...

ECAC-E v. NESCAC (to date):

5-7

2 wins by HC and 3 losses by Salve Regina (as nuogatty clusters....mmmm... nuogat...)

I think you'll have to chew on it a bit more -- not much relevance at this point in the season, and moreover there is such disparity from top to bottom in both leagues (as with most leagues) that it is really chasing your tale [sic] to try and read anything into the head-to-head league stats without a qualifying "over .500" weighting of the ratings.

Re: D3 League vs League

...and ECAC-W v. NESCAC

stands at 6-1 to date

With 3 losses by Hamilton (geographically in the midst of the EW), and 2 losses by Amherst to RIT

I'll have to ponder ECAC-W v. ECAC-E next

Re: D3 League vs League

OK

ECAC-W v. ECAC-E (to date):

13-3-1

All three head to head records can seem to show some relative strength (or depth) for ECAC-W

Re: D3 League vs League

...and as long as I'm talking to myself:

head-to-head against teams that are .500+ (within their league):

ECAC-W v. NESCAC 2-0
ECAC-W v. ECAC-E 6-2
ECAC-E v. NESCAC 0-5 (3 losses by Salve)

combined:
ECAC-W v. nescac/ecace 8-2
NESCAC v. ecacw/ecace 5-2
ECAC-E v. ecacew/nescac 2-11 (perhaps I should be including StAnselms and HC to pump up the ecace?)

The teams are the ones you would expect:
ECAC-W: RIT, Plattsburgh, Elmire
ECAC-E: Norwich, NEC, Manhattanville, Salve Regina (had to exclude HC and SA for this one -- I didn't on the other ones)
NESCAC: Trinity, Midd, Bowdoin, Amherst
