So who would have played the game this year? Endicott @ Elmira? or would they have "protected" Elmira to ensure only one flight in the QF and made Endicott play @ Norwich?

UW-EC had SOS and RNK over Endicott and only 91 miles from 8 seed St. Thomas...

Expect some coaching announcements this week. I know final interviews were going on last week at one school for sure. My guess is more than one!

Just to be clear folks, that's a DIFFERENT Ashley Salerno from the LFL Ashley Salerno! Spartans picked up a good coach there.

Yes, this Ashley Salerno was at UVM and Middlebury before that.

Yes. She's going into year 2 as a GA. She'll probably be done after this upcoming season
She's very good. Girls respect her, she's very upfront and organized.
Knows her hockey but also realized she was assistant so kept her disagreements with the coach to herself to not cause more issues on the team.

Glad to hear Mia's doing well at Castleton, hoping she gets a good coaching gig after (if that's what she wants).

Issues? Was the former DW coach just out of his depth coming in so late or something else going on that you can share?

Nothing out of the ordinary. I think she saw the play a little differently than he did. He was actually not a bad guy but I thought was outcoached a few times and wasn't quick to make in game adjustments. I think she saw that.

Four for four is pretty good in any league! Congratulations to Ms. Ames, Brand, Duquette, Leonard, Lipsom and Turk for their off ice achievements and All the Best for the future (and thank you for the pleasure of watching you play these past four seasons).

Beautiful spring here on the southeast CT shoreline, but it would be wrong to say I am not looking forward to November and the opportunity to compare notes and witness another DIII season! Best to all the graduating players (and parents) and hope everyone has an epic summer.
