Yup, Weber was easily UConn's best player when she was there and she would be a great pick-up for any team. UND already has a stacked roster and as I've said before, they should be quite good next year.
I believe Weber will only have one year left though since she played a few games for UConn before she left last year.

True. Only in the case of a medical redshirt can a player compete in games without using up eligibility.

Yup, clearly more than a rumor. Adds more depth to an already talented defensive group. Makes me wonder if one or two of the talented defensive D will be moving to offense. Candidates could be Mangene, Bolden or Szlosek. Will discuss more on the BC thread.

Won't the transfer need to sit out a year?
From the games that I've seen BC play, I don't think you want to mess with Mangene and Bolden at D, they are some of the best players at that position and could potentially play it for the national team in the future. Szlosek would be the obvious choice as I think she was originally a F before she was converted to D.

I could be wrong, but thought Mangene played F for the U18 team and other National teams. Can't dispute she is a force on D, but BC will need a little more zip on offense this year and Mangene has has displayed that skill in other high level arenas. Regardless, if you are Coach King, it's a good problem to have.

Only a fool would play Mangene as a F, she has played there, and there's no question, she's a far better D.

Nope. ECAC to HE transfer, and it is my understanding the extended accross the board new x-fer rule does not come into effect until after the start of the upcoming season.
