CWHL an NCAA graduate league

Re: CWHL an NCAA graduate league

Hi all,

I was wondering if their will be a team up in burlington VT? I heard something about a try-out in March. Any idea when try-outs for next season for the Boston team will be? I would like to try-out. Thanks.

As I have said in earlier posts, I am not as close to the league as others, but I have not heard about a team in Burlington, VT. There is a team in Burlington, ON. Maybe you were thinking about that team. I am sure one of the other posters here can fill you in on this. Good luck to you in your endeavors!

ummm...Montreal 5 - Toronto 0. In case anybody missed it.

Game Summary: Noticed there was a 5' 11" power forward, Montreal # 86 Dominique Thiabault that has obviously eluded Hockey Canada .

Get this...she's from L'original, Ontario. We can only hope she's a late addition to the National camp.

Nice work Mel...

SJS saw 51 shots.... St Pierre was Awesome!

She played at Clarkson last year and was on the U22 squad in years past. Fiver, know that French is not your thing, but her name is spelled properly this way: Dominique Thibault .

Just looked at the Montreal lineup. That is quite the line-up.

Well, I hate to say this, but this league is doomed. I was pumped last year at this time when they announced the reformating, draft, sponsorships, etc. Since then, it has quickly reverted to its old form and if they're not careful, it will fold. Boston has already pretty much gone bankrupt. And the draft, etc is just a joke. Too bad. I hope they get their act together QUICKLY. There's so much potential...but because of OWHA interference...the CW has reverted to just another minor hockey extension of the OW. And that's just wrong!

Yep....

Watched only a few minutes of the Clarkson Cup. I have no idea why this is televised. It was incredibly painful to watch...had to change the channel even though I wanted to see Botterill's swan song. While there are several talented players on these teams, the hockey is just bad because everyone just plays as individuals. Blatantly obvious that practice attendance is minimal. Saw a couple of Montreal's goals...obvious that SJS is one who avoids practice and is definitely not the player she once was. Well past time to retire for her, not only from league administration.
