Covid 2023

I read through the original threads every so often.

I'll never forget when my company pulled N95s and sanitizer off the company store I knew we were fucked then. This was back in like early February.

My daughter was just 4 weeks old at the time. First time parents, and we were looking at the start of a pandemic. You want to freak out an adult regarding a disease where nobody knew how it spread or what it could ultimately do to you? Toss in a brand new baby.

A friend of mine from work got to live in a hospital for a few weeks, as his wife gave birth about a month into the pandemic.

This is still a political issue, and somehow many of his like have convinced themselves that more viruses are better for them. Hence the number of people we saw not washing their hands after using the bathroom (both ways) on our recent cruise still surprises us. Naturally, there was a LOT of sick people with noro and various colds. Perfect thing to have when you spend a ton of money to be on vacation.

Ignore history and science where proper hygiene have kept a lot of people healthy. Lets go back to dumping your sewage into the streets.

That must suck. My nephews Wife has long covid, PhD physical therapy , specialized in geriatric PT, 2 kids below 8, can't work anymore . Has made some improvements over the las 2 years but not much.
